In the spring of 2022, ASI was tasked with conducting an extensive condition based assessment of multiple Cooling Water Structures at a power generation facility. The objective of the inspections was to carry out in-water surveys of the Intake Structure and associated assets, Discharge Channel and associated assets, and Emergency Water systems. To tackle this complex and vital undertaking, ASI utilized Commercial Divers and Remotely Operated Technology (highly customized Falcon remotely operated vehicle). Remote sensors included multibeam and imagining sonars, and HD cameras.
