Project Manager, Tunneling and Commercial Diving Services – Stoney Creek, ON

TBM Tunnelling and Project Manager

ASI Group Ltd. is continuing to grow, and we are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and successfully manage our tunnel construction projects requiring hyperbaric interventions support, and also assist with commercial diving projects. ASI strictly adheres to all Provincial Regulations and CSA Standards. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader with solid project management skills focused on providing the highest standard of quality, health and safety, and service to our clients, and have a mindset for innovation and business development.

The Project Manager Tunnelling and Commercial Diving Services will report directly to the VP of ASI Marine. Through ASI’s ISO 90001:2015 quality and project management processes, they will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project’s lifecycle from start to finish, including budget control, resource planning, overseeing field operations and ensuring that all contractual requirements are met and carried out in compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory obligations.

This position will be based in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

Project Manager Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant/related field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of related project management experience in construction (preferably tunnel construction)
  • Confident and assertive self-starter who is goal-driven with exceptional organizational skills
  • Exceptional writing and reading skills
  • Commercial Diving certification is an asset
  • Project Management Professional Certification is an asset
  • Comprehensive and practical knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook. Preferably fluent with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Able to prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions
  • Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work in a team setting
  • General understanding of labour relations
  • Familiarity with ISO Standards 9001 Quality Management Systems and 45001 Occupational Health and Safety requirements and a commitment to participate in all related quality and safety activities including training and audits
  • Possess exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license (Class G minimum) and a valid passport
