8 MONTH CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Senior Field Technician / Supervisor
Anticipated start Date: April 30, 2008

Duties:

• senior field supervisor for variety of environmental projects
  
• fabrication, installation, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
  
• working in a industrial setting, mainly throughout Ontario and adjacent provinces and states
  
• collection and analysis of water samples
  
• routine equipment maintenance
  
• client service and liaison
  
• reporting and record keeping
  

Required Qualifications:

• minimum two year college diploma in an environmental program
  
• 5 years minimum field supervisory experience
  
• water and waste water operators licences are definitely an asset
  
• mechanical and electrical experience is a definite asset
  
• experience with working in an industrial setting
  
• have a valid drivers license
  
• be able to work within a team environment
  
• be able to work with deadlines
  
• ability to learn new skills quickly
  

Other Information:

• Extensive out of town travel (Canada and United States), meals and accommodation provided by ASI Group Ltd.
  
• This position involves some manual lifting
  
• Selected candidate must provide their own safety boots (green patch)
  
• Potential for contract extension
